Gender Spectrum is here
by: Kathy Lerich
Where, exactly? Sadly, it is taking up residence in America’s public school classrooms. While it is not yet everywhere, do not be fooled; there is a formidable and well-funded political push to bulldoze through academic ‘clutter’ to allow its coming, and come it will:
UNLESS we stand against it. Gender Spectrum is a “new” term that refers to a continuum of possibilities in regards to your deep inner feeling of gender regardless of your biological anatomy of female, male, transgender or two spirit, etc.
Gender is not inherently connected to one’s physical anatomy; rather, it is a spectrum of anatomical variations. Before I even begin, please allow me to set the stage:
Are we saying Lesbians, Gays, Straights, Bisexuals and Transgenders (LGSBT) should not be friended, educated, loved or included? No, we are not. Are we backing the teaching and advancement of this type of behavior through classroom curriculum? No, I dare say, we are not. I am sounding the alarm to this new curriculum that has nothing to do with academia, and everything to do with values and social construct.
These values should and must be taught by PARENTS—not the STATE
Massachusetts, the first state in the Union to legislate compulsory schooling back in 1853, again leads the way. Thus far, Massachusetts is the only state to have a comprehensive, state-wide program addressing the needs of gay, lesbian and transgender students. Yet, in a district-by-district and state-by-state basis, pockets of the semantically deceptive “safe schools” are cropping up everywhere.
Watch Redwood Heights Elementary School‘s video in Oakland, California, for example, where their hired gun, Joe Baum, Gender Spectrum Specialist “gender coach” assimilates children unaware. Troy Flint, spokesman for the Oakland Unified School District, actually states in the interview that “Nobody is trying to influence the students to act in a specific way ….” when that is EXACTLY what they are doing by way of implementing this outrageous program.
Things have certainly digressed school-wise since the 1913-dictionary.com definition that Noah Webster entered into his dictionary stated, “Gender is a grammatical distinction and applies to words only.”
A panel sponsored in part by the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) advocated for “comprehensive sex education” not only as a tool to combat “gender oppression,” but also as the key to achieving all of the Millennium Development Goals.
The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are internationally developed goals that all 193 United Nations Member States, and at least 23 international organizations have agreed to achieve by the year 2015. Already burgeoning in places like Canada, Scotland, Hong Kong, and continuing in the USA, Gender Spectrum has federal funding and enormous political push.
The 47 Member States of the Council of Europe are close to finalizing a new convention that defines “gender” as a social construct, rather than as a distinction grounded in biology.
WILL ‘Safe School CZARS’ make schools safer? God breathed into Genesis 1:27, “So God created man, in His own image; He created him in the image of God; He created them male and female.” (HCSB). If we are teaching our children anything short of what God says, including before the US Government kicked God out of school in 1963, the answer must be “No, our schools are NOT safer.” Attempts to combine Gender Spectrum curriculum and the Holy Word of God prove incommiscible.
Here, in British Colombia’s Gender Spectrum Handbook page 5 states “Gender is a spectrum; there is a range of gender identities between and outside of the categories of male and female.” And that “gender is a product of the mind” as well as “… being transgender or gender non-conforming is normal and healthy.” The book goes on to elude that there are no relevant differences between boys and girls on pages 10-11 in their Facts/Myths section. Pages 12-13 spins a strained and fraying yarn by Harlon Pruden, co-founder and council member for the North East Two-Spirit Society insisting the existence of two spirit people (which is nothing more than demon-possessed people).
If we have more than the Holy Spirit living inside of us, we are, in fact and by definition, possessed. The handbook’s dress code section covers it this way “…dress code to enable a student’s right to dress in accordance with their gender identity” and “the right to be addressed by one’s preferred name and pronoun” (p. 16), which naturally advocates for the usage of the appropriate lavatory. The handbook guarantees, “access to safe restroom and locker room facilities that correspond to one’s gender identity.” Of course, this could be either or both lavatories on any given day, depending on the way the child’s gender is shilly shallying.
Page 29 offers this grenade for Christian children, “If students cling to traditional beliefs about gender, follow-up questions could include: “Where does your belief come from?” and “What are the real-life consequences of your opinion for people who cannot conform to your beliefs about gender?”
Ultimately, students are entitled to their opinions as long as they have subjected their beliefs to rigorous critique.” This translates to TEACHERS: Challenge your children publically and make them account with total understanding for their outmoded and fusty beliefs, or impugn them thoroughly and publicly, so that they will never dare to speak up or challenge you again.
In March of 2010, representative of the United States (US) National Education Association (NEA), Diane Schneider, testified at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women the need for governments globally to implement radical sex education in public schools. Schneider stated, “Oral sex, masturbation, and orgasms need to be taught in education on combating homophobia and transphobia.” Schneider advocated for more “inclusive” (code for mandatory) sex education in US schools, because “sex education remains an oxymoron if it is abstinence-based, or if students are still able to opt-out.”
Ms. Schneider’s statements are code for MANDATORY sex education on a very open and personal level, and no one is allowed to keep it personal or “opt out” because of the ‘homophobia and transphobia discrimination’ it presents to the others, which, of course, is pure hypocrisy, as well as a violation of God’s Word not to mention students’ God-given rights. We learn plenty through “abstinence-based” teaching:
We don’t have to murder someone and go to prison to understand the lesson. While valid, that’s not the main point here: Diane Schneider’s NEA is out to indoctrinate your child. No God given belief or rights will be honored here. Our children will be inundated with this error (smut), and told that it is truth, so our children’s heads are so full of filthy error, and so void of the ability to think critically and dialectically, they will fall for anything. Their fleshly desires will be titillatingly and purposely awakened, so that over time and through desensitization, they become intoxicatingly driven to “awaken” another recruit.
Comprehensive sex education is “the only way to combat heterosexism and gender conformity,” Schneider proclaimed, “and we must make these issues a part of every middle- and high-school student’s agenda.” Does heterosexuality and gender conformity need combating? Since when did these become bad things? “Gender identity expression and sexual orientation are a spectrum,” she explained, and said that “those opposed to homosexuality are stuck in a binary box that religion and family create.” (These statements would be code for “We want to be free to fulfill our fleshly desires without pushback from anyone, and control the minds, numbers and employment positions of the population. God isn’t real, so why would we continue to hold on to His ‘erroneous’ teachings? Therefore, God and His teachings must be eliminated.)
The GatewayPundit.com offers in its archives a shocking look at the 7th – 12th grade book list accrued by Obama’s THEN “Safe School CZAR” (Isn’t this America, where CZARS do not exist?), Kevin Jennings, who has stepped down since that time due to public outcry (bad image) for his poor choice in sex education in our schools.
Warning: The following material is very explicit.
Take a look here at excerpts from the 11-books randomly chosen which reveal what Safe School CZAR, Kevin Jennings was up to. Andrew Breitbart was approached by an independent team of researchers that Andrew had come to know and trust. The preceding excerpts through the link are taken from TheGatewayPundit.com page.
“Out of curiosity to see exactly what kind of books Kevin Jennings and his organization think American students should be reading in school, our team chose a handful at random from the over 100 titles on Gay, Lesbian & Straight Educational Network (GLSEN’s) grades 7-12 list, and began reading through.
What we discovered shocked us. We were flabbergasted. Rendered speechless.
We were unprepared for what we encountered. Book after book after book contained stories and anecdotes that weren’t merely X-rated and pornographic, but which featured explicit descriptions of sex acts between pre-schoolers; stories that seemed to promote and recommend child-adult sexual relationships; stories of public masturbation, anal sex in restrooms, affairs between students and teachers, five-year-olds playing sex games, semen flying through the air. One memoir even praised becoming a prostitute as a way to increase one’s self-esteem. Above all, the books seemed to have less to do with promoting tolerance than with an unabashed attempt to indoctrinate students into a hyper-sexualized worldview.”
This Week’s Need to Know: Gender Spectrum and hard-core pornography are making its way into children’s field of vision through the public school classroom. Every fleshly lie that can be mustered with a straight face will be presented to children, most likely via computer, as more and more schools replace books with total computer-based curriculum. Teach your children God’s design for sex. There are great age appropriate books out there designed for just that. Reading the Bible as the first and foremost authority and textbook in our homes is the wisest thing we, as parents, can do. Do not allow so-called experts to cross a crucial line in the teaching of sex education. Don’t proxy your position of authority to school administrators. Above all, teach children who they are in Christ! Until your child is secure in their identity in Christ Jesus, Think God. Think Home. Think You.
